Short version: We don't store your text. We don't collect personal data. All AI detection runs in your browser. This tool is private by design.

1. What Data We Collect

Text you paste: None. Zero. All detection runs as JavaScript in your browser. Your text is never transmitted to our servers, never logged, never stored in any form.

Analytics: We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) with ID G-QTSYQ72RCT. GA4 collects anonymous usage data including: pages visited, approximate geographic region, browser type, device type, session duration. No personal identifiers are collected. IP addresses are anonymized by Google before storage.

Cookies: GA4 sets first-party cookies (_ga, _ga_*) for session tracking. No third-party tracking cookies are set by this site.

Log files: Standard server access logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp, browser) are retained for up to 30 days for security purposes, then deleted automatically.

2. How We Use Data

Anonymous analytics data is used to understand which pages are visited, which features are used, and how to improve the tool. We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

  • Google Analytics 4 — anonymous usage analytics. Google Privacy Policy
  • Google AdSense — currently disabled (SHOW_ADS = false). If enabled in future, this section will be updated with AdSense data practices.

4. GDPR (European Users)

We do not process personal data as defined by GDPR. No consent is required for the core detection functionality as it processes no data on our end. GA4 analytics data is processed under legitimate interest (aggregate usage statistics). You may opt out of GA4 tracking by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

5. CCPA (California Residents)

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. The analytics data we collect is aggregate and anonymous — not "personal information" as defined by CCPA.

6. Children's Privacy

This tool is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated when new features are added (e.g., if AdSense is enabled). The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes.
